BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan -- President Barack Obama is in Afghanistan on an unannounced trip, one year after widening a war that has grown even deadlier for U.S. forces.
Obama arrived Friday under intense security for a six-hour visit to meet with Afghanistan's president and thank U.S. troops for their sacrifices.
