Power outages, road closings due to floods / tree uprooting CAUSE La Porte Community School District in NW Indiana to delay

Only now the week of 

AUGUST 17 - 21 is when

the La Porte Community Schools

(K - 12) will have adjusted their

start dates for "First Day of

2026- 2027 school year"

(northwest Indiana where

at early August the communities

were pummeled by severe

winds and floods / heavy deluges.
