Most federal, state, and city employees will get
the day off. Many private employers will give
workers the day off to observe the holiday.
NASDAQ and NYSE (NY Stock exchange
will not be trading on Wednesday.
Most private businesses, including big-box
retailers (Wal*Mart & Target)
and fast food establishments, will be
open to serve the public.
State workers in Virginia have the day off from counting
