New "Move-Over" law for drivers -- state of IN highways and roads

As of July 1, 2023

a new law enforced by IN State Police

will require drivers to move over 

and reduce their speeds for 

disabled vehicles displaying "Hazard"

blinking lights on the side of roads & highways.

Violators of this new law could have their license

suspended for up to 2 years and have to pay $1,000

for the offense.
