Could be storms with violent aspects -- Thundersnow !
LOW PRESSURE ACROSS CENTRAL ILLINOIS WILL MOVE RAPIDLY NORTHEAST AND STRENGTHEN INTO WESTERN LAKE ERIE OVERNIGHT. THIS SYSTEM WILL CAUSE SNOW TO OVERSPREAD OUR AREA THIS AFTERNOON... WITH THE SNOW BECOMING HEAVY AT TIMES LATER IN THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING WITH ISOLATED THUNDER ALSO POSSIBLE. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE... WITH THE HIGHER RATES ASSOCIATED WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSNOW.
