The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 7 P.M. EST /6 P.M. CST/ this evening to 1 P.M. EST /noon CST/ Wednesday. Hazardous weather... ◦ snow is expected to overspread the area from west to east this evening and persist through Wednesday. ◦ Accumulations during this time will range from 2 to 5 inches. ◦ Additional snow is possible Wednesday night and into Thursday January 2, 2014. Impacts... ◦ roads will become snow covered...slick...and hazardous late this evening and into Wednesday. Visibilities will also be limited. This will make travel across the area difficult.
