Today (Dec. 16, 2007) in the Sermon by Rev. T. Kyle Gardner (interim pastor/preacher St. John's UCC, Niles, Michigan 49120) he shared during his sermon on Waiting and Holy Patience the sermonic quotation from the noted church father of the 4th Century, St. Augustine of Hippo - -
Hope has two beautiful daughters - - Courage and Anger. . .
Can you tell me where in the course of the Church Father's sermons and doctrinal writings/Biblical commenting does he draw this illustration or observation ?

Thanks -- this seems to be in the realm of someone finding a quotable metaphor about "HOPE" and sticking the Signature of St. Augustine of Hippo onto it . . .
Anger at the way things are / Courage to see that they do not remain as they are
THERE are diverse blog reference "spins" on this quotable sentence - thought !
Maybe from a Pseudo-Augustine WORK that is just a fragment or in a kind of compilation / anthology
